Accessibility Statement

People of every ability go through fertility treatment, often at a stressful time. This site should work for all of them. Here is where we are.

Effective 1 November 2026

Our commitment

We aim for these pages to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building every page, not something added afterwards.

What we have built in so far

  • Semantic HTML (headings, landmarks, lists and labels) so screen readers can navigate meaningfully.
  • Animations turn off automatically when your system's "reduce motion" setting is on.
  • One highly legible typeface, generous line spacing, and text that scales with your browser's zoom and font size.
  • Colours chosen through a design system tested for contrast between text and background.
  • Keyboard access to navigation and the cost plan, with visible focus.
  • No autoplaying media, no flashing content, and no time limits on reading or using any tool.

Known limitations

The site has not yet had a formal independent accessibility audit. The cost plan is the newest part of these pages, and we are still testing how it announces its results to screen readers.

Tell us when something doesn't work

If any part of the site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it. Email hello@cairnfertility.com with the page, what happened, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days, and accessibility reports go to the top of the fix list.

If you need information from the site in a different format, ask and we will do our best to provide it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Australian Human Rights Commission.

Note: This statement was prepared on 1 November 2026 and is reviewed whenever the site changes materially, and at least once a year.
