Eight rules, and one that matters most.
People tell this group things they have not told their families. That only works if everyone here holds the same line. These are short on purpose: a code of conduct nobody finishes reading protects nobody.
What is said here stays here
No screenshots, forwarding or quoting. Talk about your own experience with whoever you like, but never share anything that could identify another member. This is the rule that makes every other one worth having, and breaking it is the fastest way out.
Nobody's numbers are yours to keep
You will be able to see other members' phone numbers, because that is how group messaging works. Do not save them, add them to anything, or message anyone privately who has not said you can.
Share your own story, not someone else's
Your donor, your ex, your clinic staff, your family: they did not join this group. Keep them unidentifiable.
No medical advice, ever
Share what happened to you, not instructions. Decisions about medication and protocols belong with your clinic.
No selling, promoting, or recruiting
No clinics, no supplements, no coaching, no affiliate links, no research recruitment, no press requests. If you have a professional interest in fertility, say so when you apply and ask before you post.
Loss and pregnancy both belong here
Flag hard news before you tell it, so people can choose their moment. Nobody has to read it, and nobody has to hide it either.
No toxic positivity, no advice you weren't asked for
"Just relax" and "have you tried" are not welcome. Ask people what they want before you offer it: to be heard, or to be helped.
Tell an admin, don't handle it alone
If someone makes you uncomfortable, message an admin. You will not have to explain yourself twice and you will never be asked to sort it out with them directly.
What gets someone removed.
Listed so removal is never a surprise. Admins do not debate these, and nobody who reports something is asked to justify it.
- Sharing anything from the group outside it
- Messaging a member privately who has not invited it
- Selling, promoting, or recruiting
- Giving medical instructions
- Any harassment, abuse, or bigotry, once
Leaving is always allowed and never needs a reason. If you want your application deleted after you’ve left, ask and it is gone.
This group is peer support, not a support line. If you need help urgently, see Mental health.
